Prepster In The Post: 5 easy steps to reuse an EOS

DIY Diva | 5 Easy Steps to Reuse an EOS
I live off of chap stick.  My lips are always dried and chapped.  Which means I go through chap stick like crazy!  Last year during all the gift giving I received 3 EOS, and now they are almost flat.  Instead of throwing them away, I have found a clever way to reuse them for traveling or at home.  Earring Holders!
The egg shape is perfect to fit a few pairs of earrings in when traveling! Here's a little How To:

First | Supplies: Scissors | Bobby Pin | Empty EOS chap stick

Second | Scrape the excess chap stick off of the egg.  I used a bobby pin, because what girl doesn't have one lying around? You'll get down to a little plastic web and try to get off as much of the chap stick as you can.
Third | Rinse out with water. {Both the lid and the bottom} You don't have to do this, but it helped me because it got off lots of the little pieces and the slippery texture that the chap stick gives.

Fourth | Take your scissors and carefully cut each limb of the web until the whole thing comes out.  Then remove the piece out of the egg and throw it away.

Fifth | Rinse out the lid and the bottom one last time to get everything out.  Then take a paper towel to get out the water, and your egg is ready for earrings!

Keeping it Classy and Classic,
-Bailey
